Testing records checked

The Government today completed a joint enforcement operation at Block 12 of Richland Gardens in Kowloon Bay, which was earlier included in a compulsory testing notice.   The enforcement action was conducted from around 8am to 11am by the Constitutional & Mainland Affairs Bureau together with Police and the Department of Health.   Out of the 269 people whose records were checked, three had failed to comply with the notice. 3.22m vaccine jabs given

About 3,220,600 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to the public, with about 1,940,400 people receiving their first dose and around 1,280,200 getting their second dose.   Among those given the first dose of vaccines, about 844,400 people have received the Sinovac jab and about 1,096,000 people have received the BioNTech one.   For the second dose, about 526,600 people have received the Sinovac vaccine, while about 753,500 people have been administered the BioNTech jab.   About 7,900 people received their first dose of the Sinovac vaccine and around 4,600 people received their second dose under the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme today.   For the BioNTech vaccine, about 16,200 people received their first dose and about 9,300 people received their second dose.   The overall percentage of people who received the Sinovac vaccine at community vaccination centres is about 96%, while it is 97% for the BioNTech one.   As of 8pm, about 5,400 people booked their first and second doses of the Sinovac vaccine online, while about 16,800 reserved their first and second doses of the BioNTech jab.   As of midnight, nine people were sent to hospitals.
