Athlete seals another bronze

Secretary for Home Affairs Caspar Tsui hailed athlete Yam Kwok-fan for scoring a bronze medal in the Women's T36 200m event at the 11th National Games for Persons with Disabilities & the Eighth National Special Olympic Games today.   This is her second medal at the games after winning bronze in the Women's T36 100m event.   Sending his congratulations to the athlete and the team, Mr Tsui said: “Yam Kwok-fan pulled her efforts and displayed great tenacity in the competition. Property sales dip 6%

The Land Registry recorded 7,400 sale and purchase agreements for all building units received for registration in September, down 6% from August but 12.4% higher year-on-year.   The total consideration for such agreements dipped 5.2% from August to $66.8 billion in August, but a 30.1% year-on-year increase was recorded.   Of the agreements, 5,844 were for residential units, up 5.4% from August and up 16.3% compared with a year ago.   The total consideration of residential units was $56.1 billion, a rise of 2.9% compared with August and an increase of 29.1% from September 2020.   There were 489,429 land register searches last month.
